Even though my education has depth, I consider my experience to hold much more value.
In my 15 years in fitness, I have coached and implemented skill development programs in a number of fitness disciplines: football, boxing, basketball, running, tough-murders (OCR), bodybuilding and strength training, to name just a few.
As my fitness life unfolded more and more, I became an expert in weight loss. Especially when it comes to women. Over 90% of my clients are women and they all believe in me so very much. They believe in me because of one important truth – I believe in them. Whether they want a big bum or a small bum, firm legs or sporty legs, nice shoulders, be as fast as lightning or have abs as hard and as flat as a wooden floor, I always guide them the right way. Always.
Sometimes reaching the goals can be tricky. There are always challenges along the way. “Mountains” my clients call them. I prefer the word “opportunities” than mountains. Often the weight loss can slow down and the panic begins to thrive. Yet, I’m always calm. I’ve seen that happened a number of times and there are always ways around the weight loss barrier.
From time-to-time, there are performance plateaus. Men and women alike often hit walls when it comes to their running, muscle building and strength gains. Again, I’ve seen it all before. Slight changes in reps, rest times, sets, gradients and training techniques that I know often solve those issues. That’s because I know almost everything there is to know about fitness. I know what works and what doesn’t. With me, you’ll save time and reach those fitness goals very quickly; you’ll get that body shape and hit that performance level you know you deserve.
As it stands, I am working very closely with running and strength athletes, as well as those losing weight. Recently, I have just finished helping one woman lose almost 100kg. Amazing, right? That’s because I’m determined and I cared about her goals and results. Like how I will care about your goals and your results. I’m not a critic and I’m not a talker. Those cues are too long. Instead, I’m a doer. I do exactly what I say I’m going to do and I don’t give up. I don’t back down. I don’t walk away. As long as your focused and determined yourself, I will push you on and on and on until you reach that goal – until ‘we’ each that goal together. Give yourself a chance today. Give me a chance today. Let’s believe in each other today.

This may surprise you, but my biggest client success wasn’t training someone for a sport nor helping someone lose the weight of another person (almost 100kg). It was something far greater than that…
To keep things confidential, let’s say Jay was this person’s name. Jay came to me in late 2018 asking me if I can make him as fit as possible.
“No problem,” I told him.
Over the course of about eight months, I turned Jay’s into an athlete. He was fast, strong and was starting to get more muscles than myself. Week to week, his endurance became more lasting and the iron he was listing just got heavier and heavier and heavier. It was very impressive and it was all going so well. Three months later he was surely ready for any military test, and by the time we had reached 8 months together, he would have done very well in a Cross-Fit Olympics. I had no doubts.
However, there was a concern with Jay. His working life was very stressful. And, during the Christmas of 2018, he had his second child which only added more stress to his life. As a result, during the summer of 2019 Jay experienced a freak heart-attack at a party with friends. From where I was standing, things didn’t sound good and I really thought he was going to die. But, he didn’t. As each day went by his body got stronger and stronger. The guys an ox, I remember thinking. Most people who recover from a heart attack typically have some kind of complication in the body as a result. Jay, however, had none. That almost never happens.
It took about a month before Jay had made a recovery and was out of the hospital. I thanked the doctors for helping him, but everyone else seemed to be thanking me. The doctors, my clients who knew Jay, and Jay himself all said that it was me who kept him alive because I made him as fit as possible. Even though Jay has a pacemaker and a bad memory implanted in his body, I’m still his personal trainer. Working together twice a week, we have a four-year plan to get him ready for a marathon, a triathlon and then an Iron-man.
So there you have it… huge weight-losses and gold medals asides, giving Jay a level of fitness that stopped him from dying was truly my greatest success.
